In the year 2000, I founded The Vintage Laundry. My two babies (three & five years old at the time) would pile everything into my Plymouth Voyager Van and head out to various vintage and antique markets in Texas. At that time, I stored my inventory in our home. I had heaps of printed and Damask tablecloths and napkins, crate upon crate of vintage china, glassware, and flatware in every cupboard, drawer and shelf, a garage piled to the ceiling with chair frames and every closet was stuffed full with crystal chandeliers, ornate mirror frames, and vintage decor. In 2005 I opened my first brick & mortar shop on the ground floor of a glorious old Victorian house in central Austin. A few years later I expanded to the second floor. These days I house all my goodies in a warehouse space about 15 minutes from my home in Wichita Falls, Texas.
